My number one goal is to become a leader and pioneer of the mindful fitness movement; to work full time to support others in transforming their lives in a deep and fundamental way.

I want to do this because a few years ago my life was messy. I worked in the music business. I was pretty unhappy. I didn't know what I wanted to do with myself. I didn't really even know who I was. I smoked a pack of cigarettes everyday, I smoked an excessive amount of pot, and played more video games then I care to mention. My life lacked a conscious clear purpose and meaning.

Then a few years ago I started meditating and ended up moving into Great Vow Zen Monastery in northern oregon. I lived there for 2+ years. It was a very intense and powerful experience I even contemplated becoming a Zen priest, but I felt called to work with people in a different way. Ever since I left I've been looking for ways to help people.


After trying a few things out I realized the power of mindfulness based fitness. As a former high school athlete and a current triathlete I know the clarity of mind that can come from exercising with mindfulness. It can really make a difference in peoples lives. So I have started on this path to pioneer the mindful fitness movement. I've stared a blog on the topic as well as a website mindfulfitnessmovement.com.

So that's where I am at right now, just starting this journey to help others and live my passion.
