My Story
When I was in my late twenties I had a nice body but an ugly mind. Even though I wasn’t afraid to take my shirt off at the beach, I kept my mind under wraps. I hid my thoughts behind layers of defensiveness, pot smoke, and self-delusion.
All that changed when I left Nashville to go on an epic adventure to find my fortune. After spending two years on the road with a rock band, 6 months traveling the US and India, and running a music venue, I ended up moving into a Zen monastery and started learning about my mind.
After spending two years meditating daily and spending one out of every four weeks in silence I learned how to make my brain work better and to live a more fulfilling life. I left the monastery and combined my earlier love of exercise with my new found love of mindfulness.
Now I help people create new habits, get in shape, and access the amazing power of their minds.
