Crazy right, but that's the truth. Most people who join gym start with alot of verve but they don't go the distance. If you know what you are doing or are mostly looking for spin classes gyms are a good choice, but if you are really busy, aren't sure where to start, or don't like the cold institutional feeling of most gyms it might not be the right fit for you.

I know the from personal experience. I'm a trainer and in my 6 months at Cross Fit I threw out my back, displaced a rib, and damaged my wrist. I think CrossFit can be good if you have an excellent coach (I didn't )and you are very committed to form.
